Today, I am blogging for the very first time! This is a very exciting experience for me.
For those of you who do not know me, my full name is Nouri Mahon McLucas. I am a sophomore at IUPUI. I am majoring in Elementary Education and minoring Business. In my free time, I enjoy listening to all kinds of music, reading good books and magazines, watching new movies, and hanging with friends and family. I also have two work-study jobs. One of my jobs is at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (IMA). At the IMA, I work as a Visitor Assistant (VA). The other job is located in the IU School of Education. I work for a professor. The main reason I created this blog is because I am in a class titled W200 Using Computers in Education. So far it is a really cool class. I'm doing technological stuff that I more than likely would not do if I were not in this class.
Tips/ Suggestions
Creating this blog was super easy. I clicked on the link that is located in the Modules tab. I followed the instructions and created a blog domain. It is really easy. Just follow the directions, have fun, and be original. :)
Hey Nouri my name is Lauren I am in your W200 class and I am posting a comment on your blog about the emergent technology assignment. I have also been learning a lot of things about computers and technology that I most likely would not be learning if I was not in our class. I am enjoying it thus far. Awesome that you work at the IMA I can't wait to go and check out their outdoor arts park.
ReplyDeleteI really like your slide show. The scenes are beautiful! It makes me want to be there myself! I am definitely learning more about technology through this class. I never even knew what a blog was before now. I knew there was a lot available through the net, I just never looked to access it. I'm glad you're enjoying the class, and I hope to be more comfortable with technology by the end of the semester. Have fun blogging!
ReplyDeleteNouri.....great intro. It is very cool that you are working at the IMA. What kind of things do they have you do there??? And working for a professor, how do you go about doing that? I would be very interested in doing something like that. Nice blog Nouri! :)
